Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has activated the Arkansas National Guard to provide potable water to residents in Benton and Malvern through Friday, Jan. 30.
Two two-person teams from the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team are assisting. Each team will operate a 400-gallon water buffalo, with one stationed in Benton at 6083 Castle Rock Drive and the other in Malvern at 988 F G Jones Drive.
Residents can fill water jugs and containers at the designated locations while the Guard continues its support.
