Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has ordered the closure of state office buildings, except for critical operations, on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, due to the winter storm and continued hazardous road conditions.
State employees who are able to telework are encouraged to do so, and agencies may implement liberal leave policies for employees who cannot work remotely.
