
Arkansas State closed out the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational on Saturday with one event title and eight top-10 program marks inside the Norton Healthcare Sport and Learning Center.Chris Boyd led the way for the Red Wolves in the men’s shot put, winning the event with a throw of 17.32 meters (56-10). Teammates Menachem Chen and Omar Hussein placed fifth and sixth, respectively, while Jared Moore also finished in the top 10. Arkansas State throwers have now captured four event titles during the 2025-26 indoor season, all in the shot put.
In the relays, Kneila Watson, Syriah Boyd, Je’Breiya Chapman and Jada Buggs combined for a time of 3:50.24 in the women’s 4×400-meter relay, ranking sixth in program indoor history. On the men’s side, Bruce Payerli, Mehki Hoo, Sheldon Richardson and Spencer Taylor posted a 3:15.43, also sixth all-time for Arkansas State indoors.
Freshman Parker Noffz turned in the Red Wolves’ top finish in the men’s mile, clocking 4:10.18 to place 30th. The time moves him into 10th on Arkansas State’s all-time indoor list for the event.
Overall, 10 Red Wolves recorded new personal bests across six events.
Arkansas State returns to action next weekend, opening the final month of the indoor season at the Fairgrounds Invitational in Indianapolis and the Missouri Invitational in Columbia.
