The Baxter County Quorum Court will meet in regular session Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse.Items on the agenda include a presentation from Dan Hall on veteran suicide prevention, a treasurer’s report from Jenay Mize and several ordinances and resolutions under new business.
Justices of the peace will consider an ordinance appropriating $7,342.16 in fees and reimbursements collected in December to the sheriff’s office 2025 budget. They will also consider an ordinance accepting interlocal agreements between Baxter County and the cities of Cotter, Gassville and Norfork for the disbursement of district court accounting records and support of county-level programming, along with an emergency clause.
Resolutions on the agenda include confirmation of the reappointments of Tom Frase and Tink Albright to the Cotter/Gassville Rural Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners and the reappointment of Colby Pickens to the Baxter County Planning Board.
