Area teams hit the road and host key conference games with several ranked squads in action.
Flippin travels to Cave City. The Bobcat boys are 25-5 and ranked fourth in Class 3A in the latest Arkansas Sports Media poll. Cave City is 9-11. The Lady Bobcats are 4-22, while Cave City’s girls are 7-15.
Lead Hill travels to Jasper for a showdown between two of Class 1A’s top boys teams. Lead Hill enters at 25-5, while Jasper is 24-2. On the girls side, Lead Hill is 12-14 and Jasper stands at 17-13.
Salem travels to Melbourne. The Greyhounds’ boys are 3-14, while Melbourne is 17-7. The Lady Bearkatz come in at 25-2 and ranked fourth in Class 3A, while Salem’s girls are 17-10.
Yellville-Summit hosts Bergman. Yellville-Summit’s boys are 12-13, while Bergman enters at 25-8. On the girls side, Yellville-Summit is 6-22 and Bergman is also 25-8.
Valley Springs hosts Mountain View. Valley Springs’ boys are 8-21, while the Yellowjackets are 13-8. Mountain View’s girls enter at 21-3 and ranked No. 1 in Class 3A.
Norfork travels to Rural Special for conference action.
