McDonald’s to give away McNugget caviar kits in one-day online promotion

McDonald’s is leaning into the viral “nuggets and caviar” trend with a one-day online giveaway ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The company announced it will offer limited “McNugget Caviar” kits on Feb. 10, available exclusively through McNuggetCaviar.com while supplies last. The kits are free and will be released at 10 that morning.

Each kit includes a one-ounce tin of Baerii sturgeon caviar, crème fraîche, a mother-of-pearl caviar spoon and a $25 McDonald’s gift card.

The promotion follows a similar high-end pairing that gained attention last summer when Korean-inspired fried chicken restaurant COQODAQ sold $100 nuggets topped with caviar outside the US Open. The unusual combo later went viral on TikTok.

McDonald’s called the pairing “a true match made in heaven for the special occasions in life,” combining its signature chicken nuggets with the “salty, savory, black pearls” of caviar.
