The Bomber swim team returned to the pool Tuesday night at a meet in Pocahontas.
The Bombers finished the night in first place, while the Lady Bombers placed third out of 11 teams competing.
Joshua Worman led the way for the Bombers, earning a state-qualifying time in the 100 butterfly. Worman posted a time of 1:03.62 to place second in the event. He also won his other two races on the night and finished as the top point scorer for the Bomber men.
Sophomore Bryce Litty added another highlight with a personal best in the 100 breaststroke. Litty has also secured his spot at the State Meet as part of the Bomber relay teams. Freshman Tyler Edwards recorded the third personal best of the night for the Bombers, cutting nearly 10 seconds off his previous time in the 100 breaststroke.
On the girls side, senior Peeka Traver and freshman Callie Kohler each picked up first-place finishes in both of their individual events. The pair combined for four gold medals without the help of relays as the Lady Bombers earned a top-three team finish.
