The Lady Bomber wrestling team participated in the 1A-5A North Regional in Greenwood, finishing third overall out of 20 teams.Individually, nine Lady Bombers earned All-Region honors and secured state tournament berths with top-four finishes. Three wrestlers claimed regional runner-up honors including Jurzie Guiltner at 115 pounds, Ellie Miller at 120, and Chrissa Bennett at 140.
Brooklynn Stuteville placed third at 125 pounds, while five Lady Bombers finished fourth: Bailee Schaffner at 100, Olivia McCoy at 135, Abigail Swartz at 155, Ricia Recktenwald at 170, and Abry Campos at heavyweight.
Additional team points were scored by Cami Blyzes, fifth at 105 pounds; Hollianne Houle, fifth at 110; and Amiee Lynn Yarnell Fritzal, sixth at 130.
The Lady Bombers return home on Thursday to host Green Forest and West Plains on Senior Night, with festivities beginning at 5:15.
State qualifiers will compete Friday and Saturday, February 1314, at the 1A-5A State Tournament at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock.
