The Mountain Home Planning Commission will tackle a proposed new development and a residential rezoning request when it meets Monday afternoon.

Commissioners are scheduled to consider approval of a preliminary plat for Ozark Valley Retreat, a development planned for Onyx Court off Commerce Drive in Mountain Home. The petition is filed by Ozark Valley Investments and will be presented by William Wehmeyer Jr. of Consolidated Land Services.

Also on the agenda is a rezoning request for 706 Kenway Street, where petitioner Giselle Suned is seeking to change the property’s designation from Residential R-1 to Residential R-1-A. The request will be presented by attorney Ted Sanders.

Under old business, the commission will hear a recap on zoning changes from Clay Strain.

The Mountain Home Planning Commission meeting begins at Monday afternoon at 1 in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building. Meetings are open to the public.
