The Yellville-Summit School District Board of Education will consider a proposal Monday night to purchase safety film for campus windows as part of its regular February meeting.

The board will meet at 5:30 Monday evening at the Yellville-Summit Administrative Building. The proposed purchase of safety film, listed as an action item, is aimed at enhancing campus safety.

Board members are expected to vote on several other items, including approval of the monthly budget and financial reports, and a petition for student transfers.

Technology upgrades are also on the agenda, with the board set to consider the purchase of Dell servers to replace domain servers.

Policy-related items include consideration of the Arkansas School Boards Association’s recommended school choice policy, a proposed amendment to Certified Sick Leave Policy 3.8, and the proposed certified Personnel Policies Committee salary schedule for the 2026-27 school year.

The meeting will also include informational reports from the district’s principals and the superintendent.
