The Mountain Home Lady Bomber bowling squad hit the lanes for one final time this season. The Lady Bombers finished fourth overall in the Class 5A state bowling tournament with a team total of 3,088 pins.
Valley View captured the state title with 3,650 pins, followed by Arkansas High with 3,262 and Greenbrier with 3,259. Mountain Home claimed fourth place, while Greenwood rounded out the top five with 2,995.
The Lady Bombers were led by Chloe Weatherford, who rolled a 500 series and posted a high game of 183. Kinsey Stem added a 444 series with a high game of 167, and Nikata Brunette finished with a 400 series and a top game of 156.
Weatherford earned All-State honors and placed third overall individually in the Girls 5A State Tournament and will advance to compete in the Overall State competition next week.
