Arkansas State Police have identified a woman killed in a head-on collision in rural Greene County.According to a preliminary fatal crash report, the accident occurred at 5:27 p.m. Feb. 14 in the 5300 block of U.S. 49.
Authorities said 58-year-old Melissa A. Alsup of Paragould was traveling northbound in a 2007 Cadillac when her vehicle crossed left of center into the southbound lanes and struck a 2019 Kia head-on. Alsup died in the crash.
The driver of the Kia, 47-year-old Bryan K. Parker of Brookland, and his passenger, 47-year-old Ashley D. Allen of Brookland, were both transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
