
The second day of early voting for the Preferential Primary is complete, with additional ballots cast across the Twin Lakes Area.
In Baxter County, 437 votes were cast on the second day, bringing the county’s total to 923 early ballots – about 2% of its 30,972 registered voters.
Other area counties also reported turnout. Marion County recorded 289 voters, Fulton County had 252 voters, and Boone County reported 278 voters casting ballots. Izard County reported 62 voters, Newton County reported 27. In Searcy County 126 voters were reported and Stone County reported 180.
Early voting will continue from 8 to 6 on weekdays, 10 to 4 on Saturdays, and will end Monday evening, March 2, at 5.
