
ASU-Mountain Home will begin its home schedule Thursday as the TrailBlazers host Moberly Area Community College for a two-day series at Cooper Park.Head coach Landon Hay says Ty Tilton, a Cotter native, is scheduled to start the opener, with Keaton Matlick a transfer from Kansas who joined the team this semester slated for the second game.
Moberly Area enters the series with a reputation as a strong offensive club. Hay describes the opponent as athletic, experienced and well coached, calling the matchup a significant early test.
ASU-Mountain Home enters the series with a 1-5 record, though the results have been closer than they appear on paper. Hay says the focus today will be minimizing mistakes.
