Richmond, Acuff lift No. 20 Arkansas past Missouri

Billy Richmond III scored 21 points and Darius Acuff Jr. added 20 to lead Arkansas Razorbacks to a 94-86 win over Missouri Tigers on Saturday at Bud Walton Arena.

Arkansas improved to 20-7 overall and 10-4 in SEC play, while head coach John Calipari earned his 31st career 20-win season, moving into sole possession of third place in NCAA history.

The game stayed tight early in the second half before Richmond scored eight straight points to regain control. Meleek Thomas sealed the momentum late with key rebounds and a clutch three as the Razorbacks pushed the lead to double digits.

Malique Ewin scored 16 points, Thomas added 14, and Trevon Brazile finished with 12. Missouri was led by Mark Mitchell’s 26 points and Trent Pierce’s 22.

Arkansas hosts Texas A&M on Wednesday night.
