Monday marked the beginning of week 2 of early voting for the March 3 Preferential Primary. Baxter County reported 380 votes cast.The overall number of early ballots cast comes to 2279 representing 7 percent of the 30,972 registered voters in the county.
Early voting in Baxter County will continue at First United Methodist Church through Monday evening, March 2 at 5.
In Marion County a total of 160 votes were cast Monday with 42 from early voting in Bull Shoals and the other 118 from the Marion County Fairgrounds. The county total stands at 775 or 5 percent of registered voters.
Fulton County reported a total early vote count of 567 after Monday.
