A red-carpet prom for individuals with special needs will return to the area next month as East Side Baptist Church hosts it’s fourth annual Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Pastor Scott Spear said the event, set for the March 6, is designed to honor special needs families in the community. The annual celebration welcomes individuals age 14 and older and generally sees attendance of more than 100 participants.

Spear says the evening is complete from the moment attendees arrive up to the grand finale.

The event began in 2015 as a way to celebrate the Time Tebow Foundation’s 5th anniversary. Soon after it grew into a global event aimed at celebrating people with special needs.

The evening begins at 6 on the ASUMH campus at The Vada Sheid Community Development Center. Anyone interested in attending or donating can contact the East Side Baptist Church office at 870-425-3689.
