Missouri will face its third straight ranked opponent Tuesday night when the Tigers host No. 22 Tennessee at Mizzou Arena. Tipoff is set for 8 on SEC Network.

Missouri enters the game 18-9 overall and 8-6 in SEC play after splitting a pair of games against ranked teams last week, defeating No. 19 Vanderbilt before falling at No. 20 Arkansas. Tennessee comes in at 20-7 overall and 10-4 in conference play, riding a four-game winning streak that includes a road win over Vanderbilt.

Senior Mark Mitchell continues to lead the Tigers, averaging 17.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. He is one of only a handful of players nationally to surpass 450 points, 140 rebounds and 100 assists this season. Missouri has five players averaging at least nine points per contest and is scoring 80.3 points per game.

Tennessee is paced by Ja’Kobi Gillespie and Nate Ament, who average 18.1 and 18.0 points, respectively. Ament also leads the Volunteers with 6.5 rebounds per game, while Gillespie adds a team-best 5.3 assists. The Volunteers average 80.9 points per game while allowing just 69.0.

Tennessee holds a 13-10 edge in the all-time series, though recent matchups have been tightly contested, with the last four games decided by single digits. Missouri has struggled at home in the series, losing its last five meetings with the Volunteers at Mizzou Arena.

Despite that trend, the Tigers have been dominant on their home floor overall, compiling a 32-4 record at Mizzou Arena since the start of the 2024-25 season, including a 14-2 mark this year.

Fans attending Tuesday’s game can purchase discounted beverages from 6:30 p.m. until tipoff as part of a pregame promotion.
