Sixth-ranked Arkansas (6-1) will host in-state foe Arkansas State (5-2) for a two-game midweek series Tuesday and Wednesday at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville.
First pitch for both games is scheduled for 3, with Tuesday’s opener airing on SEC Network+.
Arkansas holds a dominant historical edge over in-state opponents, posting a 28-5 record since 1947 and entering the series with a perfect 6-0 mark all-time against the Red Wolves. The Razorbacks went 5-0 against Arkansas schools last season and will face five in-state teams in 2026, including Little Rock, UAPB and UCA.
On the mound for Tuesday’s opener, Arkansas State is expected to start right-hander Andrew Allen (0-1, 10.80 ERA), while Arkansas will counter with right-hander Peyton Lee (0-0, 2.08 ERA). Wednesday’s starters have not yet been announced.
Both teams enter the series off strong starts to the season, setting up an early in-state showdown between the Razorbacks and Red Wolves.
