A Harrison-area family is making a name for itself in the rodeo arena, and they’re just getting started.
Adam Sutterfield recently spoke with KTLO about his three children – Brodie, Addilynn, and Taylee – who together formed the first rodeo team for All Creatures. The siblings have been competing at various levels, and this year marks a big milestone for the family.
14-year-old Brodie, has been riding since he was six years old, starting out on sheep before moving to mini bulls and eventually junior bulls. This year, he transitions to full-size bulls. He says the experience can be intimidating, but after years in the arena, the nerves have mostly faded.

He’s also set his sights on a particular bull named Buzz, which he describes as especially challenging. His advice for younger riders is simple: don’t give up and keep at it.
Sister Addilynn has been watching Brodie compete for years and is now working toward riding full-size broncs when her age allows. One of her most memorable rides came on a bronc named Sheba, where she managed to go one-handed - no small feat for a young competitor.
Youngest sibling Tayley rounds out the trio, practicing on a bucking barrel at home and drawing inspiration from watching her older brother and sister compete. She says her favorite part of the rodeo is simply watching them ride.
The family’s season is set to kick off April 1st.
