Boone County Judge Robert Daniel Hathaway was arrested Friday afternoon on charges including abuse of office and failure to report the loss of public funds.
According to booking information, Hathaway, 68, of Omaha, was arrested at approximately 3:01 in the afternoon by deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. He was later released at 4:43 p.m. the same day.
No additional information regarding the circumstances leading to the arrest were immediately available.
