In a press release Friday, Adams highlighted multiple infrastructure and public safety investments across Mountain Home, including major park improvements such as the all-inclusive playground at Hickory Park, upgrades at Clysta Willett and Keller parks, and continued development at McCabe Park. The city also completed a $1.58 million expansion and remodel of the downtown police station and opened the Sharp Family Fire Station in 2025 after setting aside $4.8 million in public safety funding over several years. Staffing increases allowed both fire stations to operate with expanded on-duty personnel coverage.

Adams also cited continued street improvements throughout the city and significant utility upgrades, including ongoing rehabilitation of the city’s wastewater treatment plant — a project totaling approximately $27 million — and completion of the Southwest Sewer Extension serving the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home Technical Center and future west-side development. He noted the city maintained stable financial carryover balances while completing projects and identified several major efforts underway, including construction of the new Mountain Home Community Center, the Ninth Street rebuild in partnership with ARDOT, design work on the Midway to Southwest water tank project, and long-term fire department improvements aimed at enhancing ISO ratings.
