No. 6 Arkansas blasted three home runs and rode another strong outing from Colin Fisher to an 11-1 run-rule victory over UT Arlington on Sunday at Baum-Walker Stadium.
The Razorbacks (9-3) secured their 34th consecutive non-conference home weekend series win and have not lost or tied such a series in the regular season since 2014. Arkansas has swept 22 of those 34 series.
Fisher earned his second win of the season, allowing one unearned run over six innings while striking out seven. The left-hander has not allowed an earned run in 19 innings this season, compiling 26 strikeouts with only three walks.
Arkansas offense produced 11 runs on 14 hits and six walks. Four Razorbacks recorded multiple hits, including Camden Kozeal, Ryder Helfrick, Kuhio Aloy and Carson Brumbaugh.
Zack Stewart opened the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning. Kozeal added a two-run homer in the third, and Aloy followed with an RBI double to extend the lead to 4-0. Brumbaugh later drove in his first collegiate run with a sacrifice fly in the fourth.
UT Arlington (3-8) scored its lone run in the fifth inning, but Arkansas responded with five runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach. Helfrick highlighted the inning with a two-run home run.
Steele Eaves pitched a perfect seventh inning in relief, and freshman Carter Rutenbar delivered a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the frame to end the game by run rule.
Kozeal finished with three RBIs and now has a team-leading six home runs this season.
Arkansas will continue its homestand Tuesday with a 3 p.m. matchup against Oral Roberts at Baum-Walker Stadium.
