Investigators say the day before the incident Beallis represented herself during a final hearing in a divorce case, where she was ordered to begin joint custody with her estranged husband.
Authorities reported that data from the husband’s Tesla vehicle confirmed he was not near the residence the night of the deaths. Investigators also determined his cell phone did not connect to nearby towers during that time.
Officials said Beallis deactivated the home’s security alarm around 10 p.m., and investigators found no indication that doors or windows had been opened. Deputies arriving at the scene reported the home’s doors and windows were shut and later tested them to ensure they operated properly.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities await results from electronic forensic searches. Officials say there is currently no indication pointing to any conclusion other than the findings from the autopsies conducted by the state crime lab.
The sheriff’s office says assistance in the investigation has been provided by the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations and the United States Secret Service. The Sebastian County Prosecutor’s Office has also assisted in the case.
