A brand of spicy potato chips sold in Arkansas and several other states has been recalled due to the risk of an undeclared milk allergen.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Frito-Lay issued the recall for select 8-ounce bags of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle Potato Chips after receiving consumer reports.
The FDA says people who have a milk allergy or severe sensitivity could face a serious or potentially life-threatening reaction if they consume the product.
“Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product,” the agency said in its announcement. “This product is safe to consume for anyone who does not have a dairy allergy or sensitivity to milk.”
The chips were distributed as early as January 2026 to grocery, convenience and drug stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
Officials say no allergic reactions have been reported in connection with the recalled product.
The FDA added that no other Miss Vickie’s products, sizes or flavors are included in the recall.
