The Cotter Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will host its annual Chili Lunch and Auction Fundraiser Saturday at the Cotter Firehouse.
Auxiliary President Linda McCarthy and member Linda Collier said the event will feature a chili luncheon beginning that morning at 11:30 followed by a live auction at 12:30.
McCarthy says there will be different styles of chili as well as desserts and a live auction to look forward to.

Proceeds support the fire department, which serves the City of Cotter and assists rural departments through mutual aid agreements. Collier and McCarthy say the department is looking to upgrade it’s wildfire fighting gear as well as afford other annual costs.
