
Circuit Judge Jody Carney has been appointed by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders to serve on the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission.
Carney will serve on the seven-member commission, which oversees the certification and professional standards for mediators across the state.
KTLO News spoke with Carney, who explains what the commission does.

Carney noted that having representation from north-central Arkansas on statewide boards is important to ensure the region has a voice in the judicial system.
The Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission works to promote mediation and other dispute resolution methods as alternatives to traditional court proceedings.
