The Mountain Home High School Quiz Bowl team were able to capture third place on Saturday at the 6A-3 Regional Tournament in Marion and punch their ticked to the state tournament.
The team consisting of Christian Belicek, Brandon Munson, Tanner Pool, Wave Simmons, Aidan Kerr, Victor Jackson, Jack Coleman, Kynleigh Reynolds, and Savannah Mathews got close to second place, missing and leaving with third by just one question. Notably, Wave Simmons made the All-Tournament team for having a scoring average of at least five correct responses per match.
The team will return to Marion for the state tournament on April 11.
