Several area baseball and softball teams are scheduled to be in action Thursday.
In baseball, Valley Springs (5-2) travels to Green Forest (1-3), while Mountain View (2-2) goes on the road to face Cave City (1-1). Yellville-Summit (1-1) will host Flippin (3-1) in 3A-2 Conference play, and Melbourne (1-0) welcomes Bergman (0-1) in another 3A-2 matchup.
Cotter (4-1) will host Mountainburg (2-0), and Calico Rock (0-1) is set to host Concord (0-1).
In softball action Thursday, Mountain View (1-1) travels to Cave City (6-1), while Melbourne (2-0) heads to Viola (1-1). Cotter (3-0) will host Elkins (3-2), and Yellville-Summit (2-0) hosts Flippin (0-2) in 3A-2 Conference play. Calico Rock will also host Concord.
In action Wednesday night, Salem defeated Bergman 21-1.
