As the Mountain Home Lady Bombers prepare for the Class 5A state championship game Saturday, players and coaches say the biggest way the community can support them is simple – show up.The Lady Bombers will face Farmington at noon Saturday at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs, marking the program’s first appearance in a state title game in nearly 30 years.

Head coach Dell Leonard said Mountain Home has always been known for strong community support, and seeing that again in the state finals would mean a lot to the team.

The Lady Bombers enter the championship game familiar with their opponent. Saturday will mark the third meeting this season between Mountain Home and Farmington, with Farmington winning the previous two matchups.

Despite those results, players say they feel confident heading into the rematch and believe the team has learned from earlier games.
