Bridges program receives more than 700 pounds of meat donation

The Bridges of Mountain Home food pantry recently received a large donation that will help support families within the Mountain Home Public Schools district.

E Bar A Butchery of Salem, donated and delivered 709 pounds of ground beef to the Bridges of Mountain Home food pantry Wednesday. The donation was distributed with the help of school staff and students and will benefit a number of MHPS families.

Bridges of Mountain Home Director Heather Hatman expressed appreciation to those who assisted with the donation process, including Lyn Cotter, Freddy Penka, Pinkston Administration, Guy Berry Administration, Kyle Stephens, Tim Harris, Leah Cotter, the MHPS Maintenance Department and students from Guy Berry.

Bridges of Mountain Home works to provide food and other support for students and families within the district.
