A community event centered around pies, music and family activities will take place Saturday on the Mountain Home Square. Pi Squared will run from 11 to 5, with all proceeds benefiting the Baxter Health Foundation.
Event creator and owner of The Square Piano Jenny Rasico says she usually misses Pi Day (3-14) every year and with the quick thought of a friend the event was created and grew to include nine musical acts performing throughout the day, along with about a dozen vendors.

Rasico says vendors will begin setting up at 11 and pie-themed contests will follow soon after.

In addition, organizers will hold a pie auction during the event.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring their families and pets while supporting local vendors, musicians and the fundraiser for the Baxter Health Foundation. The family-friendly event is open to the public.
