The Mountain Home Lady Bomber softball squad had their 5A-west conference home opener on Friday. The Lady Bombers fell to Russellville 7-4.
Mountain Home finished with seven hits in the contest. Maddie Simmons led the Lady Bombers at the plate, going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Chloe Bohannon added a hit and an RBI, finishing 1-for-3, while Kailyn Pope went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Leah Bockstahler also contributed offensively, going 2-for-3.
