It’s another full Tuesday of high school action across north central Arkansas, with several teams looking to build momentum early in the season.

In baseball, Salem (2-1) hits the road to take on Cave City (2-2), while Izard County (0-2) returns home to face a solid Tuckerman (3-1) squad.

Norfork (0-5) looks for its first win as it travels to Sloan-Hendrix (1-2).

One of the better matchups of the day features Cotter (6-1) hosting unbeaten Jasper (3-0), while Viola (1-2) welcomes Omaha (0-2).

Melbourne (3-0) stays on the road at Pangburn (4-3), and Flippin (4-2) travels to Bergman (0-3).

Elsewhere, Harrison (3-2) hosts a strong Farmington (5-1) team, and the Mountain View vs. Rose Bud game has been canceled.

On the softball side, Cotter (3-1) hosts Alpena (0-0) in a doubleheader, while Valley Springs (0-3) looks for its first win against Jasper (0-2).

Melbourne (3-0) travels to Des Arc (3-4), and Calico Rock (1-2) hosts Cedar Ridge (4-4).

Marshall (0-1) heads to Tuckerman (6-5), and Flippin (1-3) travels to Bergman (0-1) for a doubleheader.

Salem (2-0) faces a tough test on the road at Cave City (7-1).

Yellville-Summit (3-0) travels to Ozark Mountain (1-1), while Viola (1-2) hosts Omaha (0-2).

Norfork (3-0) puts its unbeaten record on the line at home against Izard County (0-4).
