The Mountain Home Bomber soccer team dropped a hard-fought contest to Siloam Springs Tuesday night at Bomber Stadium, falling by a final score of 3-0.
The Bombers kept things tight early, trailing just 1-0 at halftime after a competitive opening 40 minutes. Mountain Home’s defense held strong through much of the first half, with goalkeeper Zach Padgett turning away multiple scoring chances to keep the deficit at one.
Siloam Springs created separation in the second half, adding two goals to put the match out of reach.
Padgett was a bright spot for the Bombers, recording eight saves on the night while facing consistent pressure from the visiting offense.
Mountain Home will look to bounce back in its next outing as conference play continues.
