Marion County offices to close midday Thursday for training

The Marion County Transfer Station will be closed Thursday from 11 to 1 for safety training.

In addition to the Transfer Station, several county departments will also be closed during that time, including the Road Department, Maintenance, County Judge’s Office, Human Resources and Payroll.

All departments will reopen at 1.
