A Level 3 sex offender was arrested Friday morning after authorities say he had been living in Baxter County without registering or notifying the Sheriff’s Office of his residency.According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 53-year-old Timothy Joseph Dale was taken into custody.

The Sheriff’s Office received information that Dale, who was last registered with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, was residing in a camper trailer at CampMart RV Park. Officials said Dale had previously listed himself as homeless, which still requires an offender to remain within the jurisdiction of the registering agency.

Deputy Tanner Anderson located Dale at the Buzzard Roost Cutoff address Friday morning. Information gathered during the investigation indicated Dale had been living at the location for approximately two months.

Dale was arrested and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center, where he was booked on a felony charge of failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements.

He was given a $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on March 30.
