A late run proved decisive as seventh-seeded Miami earned an 80-66 win over the 10th-seeded Mizzou men’s basketball team on Friday night. The Tigers finish the season with a 20-13 overall record, while the 25th-ranked Hurricanes advance to face Purdue on Sunday.Playing in their final collegiate game, Jayden Stone and Mark Mitchell led the Tigers in scoring with 21 and 19 points, respectively. Junior Anthony Robinson II also scored in double figures with 11 points with Mitchell and Robinson adding a team-best five assists apiece.
Stone and senior Shawn Phillips Jr. led the Tigers with six boards and three blocks on the night.
