The Mammoth Spring School District has announced that Tina Taylor, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) adviser at Mammoth Spring High School, has been named Arkansas FCCLA Adviser of the Year by Arkansas FCCLA.Taylor was nominated for the honor by a fellow FCCLA adviser. After a comprehensive review process conducted by the Arkansas FCCLA state office, she was selected for her dedication, leadership, and commitment to FCCLA at both the local and state levels.

Taylor has served as Mammoth Spring High School’s FCCLA adviser since 2019. In that role, she works with students in FCCLA to develop leadership abilities, support their communities, and build personal skills.

“I’m absolutely honored and humbled to receive this award,” Taylor said. “FCCLA has always been about giving students opportunities they might not have otherwise, whether that’s competing, traveling, or meeting students from other parts of the state. This means a lot, but it really reflects the work of our chapter as a whole.”

Mammoth Spring High School Principal Scott Small said the recognition reflects Taylor’s ongoing efforts.

“Mrs. Taylor has built a strong FCCLA program at Mammoth Spring,” Small said. “She spends a lot of her time working with students, helping them prepare for competitions, and encouraging them to be active in the chapter. We’re proud and thankful for what she does for our school.”

Taylor will be recognized during the FCCLA Adviser and Chapter Awards Ceremony on April 9 at the state FBLA Conference.
