An annual spring carnival is planned for Saturday at the L.C. Sammons Youth Center in Cooper Park.
Recreation Coordinator Enoch Pepin says the carnival is geared toward younger children, with games, activities, prizes and more.

Recreation Coordinator Megan Engeler said the carnival is a longstanding community tradition that has been held for many years, adding that the continued support of volunteers plays a key role in making the event possible each year.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to the public. The L.C. Sammons Youth Center is located at 1101 Spring Street in Mountain Home.
