ASUMH falls to Three Rivers in close contest

Arkansas State University-Mountain Home came up just short Tuesday, falling to Three Rivers College 5-4.

The Trailblazers struck first in the opening inning when Weston Pschier doubled to drive in two runs.

Three Rivers rallied to tie the game in the fifth before taking the lead in the eighth on an RBI single. ASUMH was unable to answer late.

Pschier led the Trailblazers at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Chase Plowman also collected two hits. Nick Fincher started on the mound, allowing three runs over six and one-third innings, and Wyatt Winters took the loss in relief.

ASUMH will return to action Thursday on the road at National Park College.
