Mountain Home Public Schools has named Kristi Seawright as its Teacher of the Year.
Seawright, a first grade teacher at Nelson-Wilks-Herron Elementary, was selected by her peers for the honor.
District officials say the recognition reflects her dedication to students and her impact in the classroom.
Being chosen by fellow educators is considered one of the highest honors within the district.
