No. 4 Arkansas hosts Florida for SEC weekend series

Fourth-ranked Arkansas returns to SEC play this weekend with a three-game series against Florida at Baum-Walker Stadium.The Razorbacks enter the series 19-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play, while the Gators come in at 20-6 and 3-3 in the SEC.

The weekend will also serve as Norm DeBriyn Legends Weekend, honoring the former Arkansas head coach following his induction into the College Baseball Hall of Fame. In Friday’s opener, Arkansas players and coaches will wear DeBriyn’s No. 23 jersey — the only retired number in program history.

Game one is set for 6:00 on Friday, followed by a 1:00 first pitch Saturday and a noon finale Sunday. The first two games will stream on SEC Network+, with Sunday’s matchup airing nationally on SEC Network.

Arkansas is scheduled to start Gabe Gaeckle on Friday, Hunter Dietz on Saturday and Colin Fisher on Sunday. Florida will counter with Liam Peterson in the opener and Aidan King in game two, with a starter to be announced for the series finale.
