Mountain Home Public Schools will host kindergarten registration on Friday, April 10, by appointment only.
Students must attend the appointment with a parent or guardian at the Mountain Home Kindergarten Center, located at 1310 Post Oak Road. Those unable to attend are asked to call the school at 870-425-1256 to schedule an alternate appointment.
To be eligible for enrollment, students must turn 5 years old on or before August 1, 2026.
Parents should bring a birth certificate or official hospital record, Social Security card, immunization record or appointment card, and a kindergarten physical or appointment card.
Kindergarten Principal Kevin Roach said he is looking forward to meeting incoming students and their families.
“I look forward to building a relationship with each one of our new kindergarten families,” Roach said. “It is the goal of the entire faculty to make kindergarten an exciting place for students to learn, explore, grow and create memories that will last a lifetime.”
