A Calico Rock woman was airlifted to a Springfield hospital following an accident in Howell County Friday afternoon. The woman was flown by Air-Evac to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) does not release the names of those involved in motor vehicle or boating accidents.
According to the report from the MSHP, the crash happened when the woman’s vehicle ran off the road and struck an embankment.
The accident happened on U.S. Highway 160 near its intersection with Missouri State Highway JJ, two miles west of West Plains at 3:55 Friday afternoon.
