Area teams were back in action Monday with a full slate of baseball and softball games.
In baseball, West Side rolled past Calico Rock 15-0. Flippin won the Marion County rivalry game over Yellville-Summit 17-0. Concord defeated Viola 16-1, while Valley Springs shut out Salem 5-0. Jasper edged Norfork in a close one 10-8, and Cotter blanked Lead Hill 10-0.
On the softball side, Mountain View knocked off Cave City 6-5. Salem defeated Cotter 3-0, and Melbourne dominated Bergman 18-3. West Side topped Calico Rock 11-1, while Yellville-Summit beat Flippin 14-1. Norfork finished the night with a 7-0 shutout over Jasper.
