The Mountain Home Bombers will host Van Buren Thursday in a key 5A West showdown at Pitts Field at McClain Park.
Mountain Home enters the game 12-6 overall and 8-2 in conference play, currently tied for second place in the league. Van Buren comes in holding sole possession of first place with a 15-6 overall record and an 8-1 conference mark.
The matchup was originally scheduled for Friday but was moved up due to weather concerns.
First pitch is set for 5, with the junior varsity game to follow.
