A local golfer is set to compete on a national stage.Big Creek Country Club’s Brad Simons will take part in the 2026 PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes Resort in Oregon.
Simons qualified for the event last July and will now compete against top club professionals from across the country.
The stakes are high, as the top 20 finishers will earn a spot in the 108th PGA Championship, scheduled to be played at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania.
Live coverage of the PGA Professional Championship will air each evening Sunday through Wednesday from 6 to 10 on the Golf Channel.
