Wynne schools to receive $5.6 million in FEMA funding

Wynne Public Schools is set to receive federal funding following damage from severe storms in 2023.

According to a FEMA news release, the district will receive $5.6 million to replace the contents of multiple buildings across its campuses, including libraries and information technology departments.

The funding is part of a larger $1.2 billion allocation announced by FEMA for more than 200 public assistance projects nationwide.
