Chloe Bohannon delivered a historic performance in the circle, throwing a perfect game to lead the Mountain Home Lady Bombers to a 12-0 win over Van Buren.Bohannon was flawless across five innings, not allowing a single baserunner while striking out four in the dominant outing.
Offensively, Mountain Home backed her up with a big night at the plate. Libby Dewey went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, while Laken Anderson added a home run and drove in three. Brooklynn Mitchell also homered and finished with an RBI.
Maddie Simmons went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Daelyn Harper and Bohannon each added hits in the win.
In junior varsity action, Mountain Home picked up a 2-1 victory.
With the win, the Lady Bombers improve to 10-6 overall and 7-4 in conference play. The JV squad moves to 6-3-1 on the season.
